Sometimes you can write the ultimate blog post that is everything a reader could be looking for.
But they will never find it because you couldn’t stick the landing and come up with a perfect blog title. Even if you include the right keywords.
We have all been there, and it’s not a great feeling to see all that hard work be wasted.
Now I could give you a ton of tips and tricks on how to write the best blog title, but no one has time for that.
So let’s just look at 10 or so of the best blog title generators you can use right now.
These blog title generators and graders will help you take the guesswork out of picking a catchy blog title.
10 best blog title generators for 2021:
- Kickass Headline Generator
- Hubspot Blog Ideas Generator
- Portent Content Idea Generator
- Topic Blog Idea Generator
- How Engaging Is Your Headline
- SEOPressor Blog Title Generator
- FatJoe Blog Post Title Headline Generator
- BlogAbout Blog Title Generator
- Tweak Your Biz Blog Title Generator
- Free Headline Analyzer
1. Kickass Headline Generator
The first and best blog title generator we are going to look at is the Kickass Headline Generator from SumoMe. Don’t be scared off by its minimalist design, the generator is very powerful!
When you land on this generator, you are greeted with 5 different headline categories to choose from. Each category has different inputs to make sure you create an informative blog title that fits your blogging goals.
Once you select your category, the headline generator uses a bunch of different formulas to spit out unique blog titles for a variety of use cases.
These blog headline formulas allow you to input more than just a single keyword and get a list of generic blog titles. You can also add things like a desired outcome, a time frame, extra descriptive adjectives and more.
I also really like how they give each type of blog title a name so you can reference them later.
This generator is perfect for basically everyone because they give you so much control.
Best of all, it’s free and you don’t have to sign up for a mailing list to use it.

2. Hubspot Blog Ideas Generator
Next on the list is the Blog Ideas Generator from Hubspot. Unlike the previous entry, this one is a bit more colorful.
You can input up to 5 nouns at a time, and Hubspot will then spit out new blog titles for you to use. However, it doesn’t give you as much control over the titles or how they are generated.
I would recommend using this blog title generator if you’re early in the blog writing process and need some direction on how to frame a keyword.
One downside is that this blog title generator will only show you 5 blog ideas or titles at a time. To get the other 250+ ideas that they have generated, you have to give them your information.
And as someone who has given Hubspot my email hundreds of times, that was a no-brainer.
Especially because they allow you to download all ideas in a CSV for later. Or just view them all at once on the blog idea generator.
Additionally, they promise to send you some modern blogging tips, whatever that means.

3. Portent Content Idea Generator
The Content Idea Generator from Portent is another powerful blog idea generator that you can start using instantly.
All you have to do is enter your keyword and the generator will give you an almost unending supply of blog titles.
You can then save those blog titles for later and access them at the end of your idea generation.
The main thing that stuck out to me with this blog idea generator was that they broke down each part of the title. And why they selected each word in the title.
This approach will help new, and some veteran, bloggers think more holistically about their blog titles in the future as well.
I think this content idea generator is best for writers who need help taking their blog idea to the next level. Or bloggers who need some help formatting their random ideas into a fleshed-out blog post.

4. Topic Blog Idea Generator
The Blog Idea Generator from Topic is one of the most interesting tools on this list. Unlike all of the other generators, it uses GPT-3 to generate each of the blog titles.
For those not familiar with GPT-3, it is an API that uses deep learning to generate text that looks like it was written by a real person.
It only gives you one blog title or idea at a time, but each one that is generated is pretty solid.
Based on my testing, most of the titles the title generator spits out are pretty great. I didn’t run into many that made me laugh or scratch my head at the insanity. To be honest a good chunk of these blog ideas might actually be a great fit for the Venngage blog.
The example in this screenshot is definitely something that our readers would care about!
I also really like the description that they give you for each blog title. It makes the blog post feel a lot more tangible and gives you some good jumping-off points.
If you want to take it to the next level, this blog title generator will also use GPT-3 to generate creative briefs or outlines for each blog post.
This could be extremely useful for brands that need to create a ton of content around a certain keyword or idea.

5. How Engaging Is Your Headline
This example from Sharethrough is a little different than some of the others on the list but it can still help you come up with a great blog title.
Instead of generating blog titles, the tool gives your blog title a score based on 300 different variables. Sharethrough says that they use a combination of the Behavior Model theory and their own research to determine the scores.
I decided to run a headline from the Topic Blog Idea Generator through this tool and it gave the blog title a 68. If you were wondering, that is an average score according to their metrics.
I thought it was a pretty good headline, so I guess that shows what I know.
In addition to the score, they also give you some tips to make your blog title more eye-catching or engaging.
I would recommend using the headline grader in tandem with one of the other blog generators on this list. This should ensure your blog title or headline is truly amazing.
6. SEOPressor Blog Title Generator
Next, we have the very simple Blog Title Generator from SEOPressor.
Don’t let its simple interface fool you, this blog idea generator is still very useful for a lot of people.
Once you input your keyword, you can tell the generator what the keyword is. For example, if I wanted a keyword about Drake, I would select the “This Is A Person’s Name” option from the drop-down menu.
This really helps the generator create titles that actually match your keyword idea instead of just generating a bunch of random blog titles that only somewhat work with your keyword.
Plus, out of all the other generators on the list, this one promised the most unique blog titles. I entered the keyword “Infographics” and it spits out 1168 blog titles!
So if you’re looking for a TON of blog ideas to cycle through, this is the tool for you.

7. FatJoe Blog Post Title Headline Generator
The FatJoe Blog Post Title Headline Generator is another great tool that you can use to come up with 100+ blog ideas.
All you have to do is enter your keyword or idea, and the generator will give you 10 pretty solid blog titles.
I was pretty impressed with what it was able to generate in a few seconds. The blog titles seemed to be better than average, and I really liked that it only gave you a few options at once.
If you want to see the other headlines, you do have to sign up for their newsletter. But all you are really giving them is your email address.

8. BlogAbout Blog Title Generator
The BlogAbout Blog Title Generator from Impact is one of the most unique generators on this list, and on the market.
Instead of taking your keyword and simply showing you a list of blog titles, it takes a different approach.
You still enter your keyword but this blog title generator gives you almost a template to help create the perfect headline.
I like this approach because it helps the user get in the right mindset for coming up with a blog title, but it doesn’t do all the work for them.
It’s almost like the blog title generator is teaching a user how to come up with their own blog titles so they don’t have to use the generator anymore.
Additionally, there is a little doodle pad that you can use if you have writer’s block. This has nothing to do with headline generators, but it’s nice to have fun easter eggs like this in a product.

9. Tweak Your Biz Blog Title Generator
The Tweak Your Biz Blog Title Generator is another generator that will give you a ton of ideas. As soon as you enter your blog keyword, you will see what I mean.
Unlike some of the previous examples, they organize each blog title idea into a bunch of different categories. For example, there are categories like List, Best, How To, and Question that are exactly what they sound like.
The only downside of organizing in this way is that it’s a bit hard to wrap your head around that many blog titles. It’s a bit overwhelming and scrolling through each category isn’t very user-friendly.
But if you want a bunch of different blog ideas to get the creative juices flowing, this tool can definitely help you out.

10. Free Headline Analyzer
Let’s end this list of the best blog title generators with another headline analyzer. This tool from CoSchedule has been around for a long time, but it’s still very useful to any writer.
In fact, this was one of the first tools I really used religiously when I started writing 5+ years ago.
Like the precious blog headline analyzer, all you have to do is input your title and it will give you a score.
This score is based on a really scientific-looking formula that looks at your common/uncommon word usage, sentiment, clarity, character count and a bunch of other factors.
The only reason that this tool is so low on the list is because now you can’t use it without creating a free account. In the past, anyone could use it in a few seconds.
However, they do have a Chrome extension that should help any writer create better blog titles.
In summary: Choose the right blog title generator to help keep your creative juice flowing
So these are some of our favorite blog title generators! Hopefully you found one that will help you get out of your creative rut.
These blog title generators are great tools to use in tandem with Venngage’s blog header templates, as you can see from some examples above.
Just by creating a free account, you can have access to tons of blog header design you can use to give your blog a unique touch and capture readers’ attention.
