One of the most important techniques in making images and photos look great is to crop & frame them to enhance the composition of the image. (This is also called “masking” in some photo editing tools)  We recently added a feature called Image Frames that allows you to edit your images in a similar manner easily.<\/p>\n

All you have to do is add an image to the canvas (use the Image Library Search to quickly find royalty free images). Like this image of a panda.<\/p>\n

Next, add an Image Frame. Click on Image Frames on the left panel, and choose the shape you want to frame the image with.<\/p>\n

Here I’ve added a Circle Frame.<\/p>\n

Click and drag the image into the the Circle. It will automatically be cropped and fitted into the image.<\/p>\n

Double clicking the image frame will enable you to drag the photo to re-position or resize it within the frame.  You can also resize the image frame by clicking the image frame and dragging on the lower right corner to expand or contract the shape.<\/p>\n

There are many different shapes you can choose from. We will also be adding more interesting shapes and widgets in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.<\/p>\n
