Isn\u2019t development all about learning?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, yes \u2014&nbsp;they\u2019re similar. But in organizational L&amp;D programs, there are some key differences that set them apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Learning<em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>is a general, umbrella term for the process of gaining more knowledge and skills. All professional development involves learning.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/venngage.com\/blog\/employee-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Training<\/a><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>is a specific type of learning.
