If you\u2019re putting together a weekly report, those objectives may be tasks accomplished. You may also include notes about roadblocks or problems solved.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A monthly or quarterly report will likely look at larger milestones instead and give a broader overview of the progress made on a project. Then, the following pages will show the supporting data.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Perform a detailed data analysis<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now for the fun part. (Yup, I\u2019m a data nerd.)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analyzing your data is the logical next step. I like to start by organizing my data into buckets. For example, I might have a bucket for tasks accomplished, outstanding tasks, blockers, budget and key learnings to date.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often, I\u2019ll include a bucket for outstanding questions. And I analyze all of the above to identify patterns and make informed predictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have all this information, make a note of which pieces of data can be visualized. Graphs, charts and other visuals help simplify complex data and reduce the amount of text you\u2019ll need in your report.
