This gives you plenty of space to talk about your product, business or brand. &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, you may be thinking, \u201cAll of this sounds great, but I don\u2019t know how to design a brochure that actually looks good.\u201d<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this guide, I\u2019ll show you that you don\u2019t need an in-house design team to create your own trifold brochure. So let\u2019s get into it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. These simple graphics can be used a ton of different ways across all of your design projects. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plus <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/venngage.com\/blog\/infographic-design-6-ways-to-use-icons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">icons can help a novice designer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> create something that looks amazing. It doesn\u2019t matter if you are an accountant, consultant or business owner, a well-designed icon can help upgrade any brochure. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a look at this trifold brochure template, each section uses a related icon above the written information. Also, gradients look futuristic on the HD screens that we carry in our pocket every day.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A great way to stand above this noise is with bold colors and unique backgrounds. Use image frames for a consistent image shape<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/venngage-wordpress.s3.amazonaws.com\/uploads\/2019\/02\/France-Photo-Travel-Trifold-Brochure-Template.jpg\" alt=\"France Photo Travel Trifold Brochure Template\" class=\"wp-image-23357\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s pretty easy to keep a consistent color palette or font throughout each page of your brochure. However, once you add images to the design, things can get a little complicated.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a ton of different photo styles, color palettes, and sizes that you may be working with.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now if you were to add them to your brochure, they would look incredibly out of place. This approach is great for people wanting a minimalist or modern brochure as well. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plus it will help you keep from overwhelming the reader with too much information.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I would recommend using bold headers, like they did above, for each of your sections. This will quickly show that the reader is moving from one piece of information to the next.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.&nbsp;Only use images that share a similar theme or color palette&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/venngage.com\/templates\/brochures\/professional-tri-fold-brochure-2bcc1534-6595-40a4-a1ce-73106de5f958\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/venngage-wordpress.s3.amazonaws.com\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Professional-Business-Marketing-Tri-Fold-Brochure-Template-2.jpg\" alt=\"Professional Business Marketing Tri Fold Brochure Template\" class=\"wp-image-23377\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using photos with a consistent style and color palette will make your brochure design look a lot more professional. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The photos that you use shouldn\u2019t only have a similar palette but also <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">feel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the same. Almost like they all came from the same kind of photographer or a single photo shoot. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I would recommend outlining your photo style in a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/venngage.com\/blog\/brand-guidelines-templates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">brand or style guide<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In this case, the brochure listed all the daily events for each month of the year. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a traditional trifold brochure, the information would have felt cramped. And the reader probably wouldn\u2019t have enjoyed reading.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plus, by using a nontraditional shape or size it will stand out from the other brochures instantly. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>15.
