Create 3-5 unique and detailed personas to start<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re creating your first customer or user persona guides, I would design one for each of your main customer groups. Most resources recommend between three and five distinct personas, and I\u2019m inclined to agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/brixongroup.com\/en\/developing-buyer-personas-in-b2b-the-workshop-guide-for-accurate-target-audience-definitions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">study<\/a> by SiriusDecisions, the most successful B2B companies use an average of 4.2 active buyer personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start with one ideal user persona and slowly expand to other&nbsp;types of customers. Otherwise, you\u2019re going to compare really abstract things like their bio, keywords or some other written metric.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Something like a score or point can generally be compared across the board. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b><b>6.
