Format your Google spreadsheet&nbsp;<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to format your data in your spreadsheet so that Venngage\u2019s chart widgets can import the data correctly. How you format the data depends on the type of data you\u2019re presenting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you\u2019re looking at trends, time values should run along the X-axis. When arranging your data into your spreadsheet, anything in the first column will be treated as the X-axis values. Don\u2019t worry!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Your spreadsheet isn\u2019t available for just anyone on the internet to see. Your data can only be viewed by those you\u2019ve shared this link with (like a typical share link). Copy this link and paste it into your chart widget.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Switch over to the editor, click Edit Chart or double-click the chart itself. This opens the chart editor with the Data tab selected. Customize your chart design<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now for the really fun stuff. This lets you choose the right chart for your data. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you prefer a line chart over a bar graph, or want a combination of them, you can choose them and see how your data gets visualized. This makes it easy and convenient to decide on the perfect chart type.
